Excellent transation August 18, 2010 mared Bought this game for my son for Christmas. Played it at a relative's home and LOVE it! It take the original game of Clue to a whole new leve. The game was shipped very quickly.
Harry Potter Clue July 29, 2010 chubalubs This variation on the Clue board game is fun for those who enjoy the Harry Potter books. It is simple to set up and play. The cards with various characters and magical things from the books add to the fun. The only downside is the weapons are represented by cardboard disks instead of more substantial objects like the original game: not as fun.
Great Game, Even for Non-Fans! June 20, 2010 Tracy (Central FL) This is a fantastic new twist on a classic game, and can be loads of fun, even for non-Potter fans! The original Clue game has always been a huge favorite with my family, and this is the fourth or fifth version that I own. Unlike other games that are themed around a certain topic (like Monopoly for example), where you;re playing the same game, just with a themed board and themed pieces, with the themed clue games, you are playing a different GAME all together! That's why I don't feel silly buying several versions of the 'same game'. they all have a different twist! I own HP Clue, Electronic Clue, and the original. I'm still hunting for Clue Museum Caper, that was a fantastic game too!
Fabulous game if you love Clue and Harry Potter June 18, 2010 monkeyX2 (Kitchener, Ontario, Canada) My 8 year old son got this game for Christmas and I must admit trying to play it while the buzz of Christmas is around was difficult. We tried again today and it was not nearly as complicated as I had thought. We both loved it! It takes Clue to the next level. It may be more difficult if you haven't played regular Clue. It is so cool how passages change and spells are collected to battle the dark events. My son would have loved it if the pawns were the Harry Potter characters instead of just coloured tokens and I agree with others that the house points are a little disappointing but you can always just give out more in the beginning. If the help cards had ones that added points that could cure the problem too. Overall, we can't wait to play it again and show his grandma too!
Harry Potter Nerds March 18, 2010 Sarah Beckius (East Coast, USA) Love this game! Not the biggest fan of the house points though. We've had a few games where people run out of house points by the third turn so we just don't play with them anymore. The secret passageways changing add a great twist to this classic game.
